It all started with a simple phone call to CLYNK’s Customer Service team. Ben Davis, CEO of OpBox, reached out to explore the idea of building CLYNK’s bottle and can collection stations.
We were immediately intrigued. OpBox constructs its buildings using composite fiber panels made from recycled PET plastic—giving new life to discarded materials. As we learned more about this family-run business in Woolwich, Maine, it became clear that our partnership could benefit not just the environment, but also our retail partners and customers.
Building a Greener Future
Together, CLYNK and OpBox are redefining sustainability. The CLYNK Sustainability Station by OpBox is unlike anything else on the market. Instead of relying on traditional construction materials, it replaces hundreds of components and steps with a nearly 100% recycled alternative.
Each OpBox is made with EDURA, a composite panel known for its strength, durability, and eco-friendly properties. EDURA offers:

- High recycled content.
- Resistance to rot, mildew, mold, and pests.

CLYNK and OpBox thrive on collaboration. By working with experts in recycling and sustainability, we’re making real change happen. Our 24’ and 32’ CLYNK Sustainability Stations alone contain 30,408 and 39,096 recycled PET containers, respectively.
CLYNK is already making history in the recycling industry—keeping billions of bottles and cans out of landfills, waterways, and incinerators. Since its founding, CLYNK has collected an incredible 2.5 billion containers. Even our iconic green CLYNK bag is made from at least 50% post-consumer recycled content and gets recycled into new bags after use.
